I really really can't tell you how much I love my family. Okay, I know I've said about them like a million times, but really man, its an awesome feeling, one that I look forward to every single month(and yes, I don't mind missing edge for that). So mum and dad went off alone to celebrate their wedding anniversary, Joash ran off to who-knows-where. And of cos' I was with them at east coast park. Spending time, food and fellowship, I love this kinda life. I don't mind being poor, I don't need to be rich. I don't mind living poor if I were to be stuck with them for the rest of my life haha. Better still, if I'm really stuck with them, I'll be able to share the gospel with them every single day! All of them need Christ, every single one of them in the photo...okay minus four.

Mother loves this photo alot that she actually koped it and posted it on her facebook. Yes, we're smiling and holding each other's ali baba photo. That was way way way wayyy back. Seeing my childhood friend turning 21, that's rare. I got mum to help me dig out some photos of us when were little. Meeting her tomorrow evening, we're having island creamery! Okay, I've been busy, busy catching up with friends. Now I really understand the meaning of no-life. Working people have no life. Married people, lagi worse, horrible-life! Okay I'm just kidding, having a family is a beautiful thing, really. Got the chance to meet up with Featured last monday. Kinda suck meeting up after work though, I realised I was actually super tired from work but still I'm glad we met up. Celebrated Tham's birthday just two days ago. I really hate traffic jams, especially when you're in a cab and in the middle of a highway! And of cos' I finally got to meet my class people! Its one thing to chat on msn but to meet up and have dinner, that's just awesome! Furthermore the food was good! We all left the place with this really strong burnt smell on our bodies, top to bottom. Happy Birthday to you Tham!!

I can tell you that they're super jealous of my job right now. Hah, oh well all I can say is I mastered Paint during office hours. I wanna try photoshop. I've never try it before, serious! Anways, I think time flew pretty fast. I'm already getting my second paycheque this week. Okay sometimes I wonder if I'll ever have the time to meet up with friends and have all the activities again after when I'm out in the real working world. Its scary to even think about it. Fine, let me deal with army first then I'll think about it again.

3 more hours till I put my foot on the pedal, can't wait. That's my so-called hobby right now after work. Beats going home staring at the computer again, as if staring from 9 to 6 wasn't enough. My supervisor told me he had nothing for me today so I really really tried my best to find stuff to entertain myself, really!! I read articles on wikipedia, created my twitter account...and speaking of twitter. I don't know why this stupid app is not working la. The followers section forever reflects zero while my email tells me another thing, rubbish!! Anyways I think the only person twittering with me right now is Andrea, who is also the same monkey that entertained me 3 weeks back since.

I met EW & Jac last night, went to buy some expensive paper. I'm gonna be working on my art and craft skills for the next few days...see if thats gonna work out fine. We ate thai food, and EW paid for my food(again!), don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing haha. When my blessings come, it comes in like 'ji-ba-bomb' get it?? Yesterday night Hualing texted me saying she's got a headset for my phone and she's giving it to me, see what I mean?? Alright lastly, I'm running the standard charted marathon again this year. I'm still thinking whether should I go overseas for my internship. Just got the application form, and I'm actually quite cite for it. Outreach was great. My net memebers are pigs!! They really can eat!! I should probably let you guys know that every friday right after lesson, they would just run to my fridge and steal all my chocolates, yes I'm serious!! They've been doing it for 3 weeks already so ya, today I told them when I was looking for some chocolate to eat last tuesday, the container that stores all my candys was empty. Okay my net loves chocolates, like every single one of them. And as for today, we had too much food, but ya amazingly they finish it up...almost. I made nuggets again (I'm getting better at making solid golden nuggets!!) and cooked mushroom garlic soup. Soup was terrible I tell you, thank goodness there were only enough for my members and not myself hah!! Well I sorta gey kiang and went to put in some chinese mushroom in it, even Janice know one shouldn't put such thing inside...so ya the smell was weird, the taste..yucks!! Dinner started late cos' I made them work for their own sandwiches. As usual my pigs were very generous with their stuffings, their triangles were bloated up. We're so praying hard for visitors next month!! And take a look at Benedict and his adorable chubby face :D

Just came back from dinner with family and cousins. Went to marina south pier, at the seafood restaurant. And ya, marina south pier is just next to marina barrage so it means theres really nothing much over there except the distinctive colours between fresh water and sea water. We did go marina barrage in the end. I realised there's this certain group of people you'll always find hanging around there and no I'm not referring to the couples, I'm talking about another group :) And ya, we ended like those bunch of little kids we saw when we were looking down from above, playing round the little pool and the mini water fountain.

Oh and I'm so thankful that I actually went to the leaders retreat for the past two days. His presence was definately there. Since it was my first, this retreat totally changed my perception of what a leaders retreat is all about. Thank God I didn't miss it. Truly blessed by the sermons!! And next week, last session for NLT2. Now thats the one that has really killed my sundays for the past 3 months or so. Its really boring, even though I did learn a little from here and there, but still its boring lor, but nevermind, next week's the test anyway, just get it done and over with :)

One month just passed, another one to go and while Kenvin is already going MADagascar over work, I'm still jobless!! Nevermind, something to cheer myself up: just 'bought' two brand new albums from Coconut over an hour. BoA's new jap and english albums!! BEST!! Thanks Coconut!!

The weather this morning was really disappointing, but thank God, that was just to 'clean' the beach up for us. We still went ahead with our plan, I prayed hard that it was gonna be sunny for the rest of day, and it was :) I had so much trouble frying the nuggets myself cos' I had no idea how golden brown IS golden brown. So ya, ended up having 3 different looking sets of 'golden brown' nuggets. But no one really cares cos' they finish it all up!! Anyways, I'm glad I brought Featured along and that she even agreed to tag along. Thank goodness she got along well with the rest (See I just expanded your social circle!!). We ended up having some little picnic, the typical mat, the food, the drinks and a group of old people sitting in a circle around the mat, gee. As usual catching up was the best part. Haven't been out with them for almost 2 years already so hearing from them was interesting. Went down to sakae sushi after sentosa, went to meet the rest of the group and boy was I surprise to see some faces whom I haven't seen in years. We had to have 2 long separate tables. Okay I enjoyed their level of engergy, their craziness...haha can't believe we're actually 21 already yet doing all these. I really really enjoyed the time spent with them. Alright I'm just gonna bring more friends to tag along with them in future, with that I get to save money on having to meet them on different occassions!! Gee...

The birthday chalet for the first 3 boys was fun, except the rain, which kinda defeated the purpose of our water bomb. But yaa...it was fun still. Hope you guys like the present, well of cos' you do, I choose one mah.

Went to get Mr. Lim's present in the afternoon. Surprisingly, Mr. Lim was generous enough to spare his precious birthday time(with Jackie) and call me down. Nah Jackie and Engwee pleaded me to come down..just kidding. So end up went with Car to meet those two. That old man brought us to Marina Barrage. I don't know what's so beautiful over there. It felt so science centre-ish, no actually its even worse. Maybe I don't really care how our country deals with the water...oh well. The funny photo taking thingy that was inside, the photo turned out so bad, lousy...eee~yerr. So ya, thats pretty much the little excursion we had (never going back again~), not to mention the extrememly blazing sun that followed us throughout, oh my word!!

Lunch was great with the cousins earlier on. We went to 福临门. Food was good. Jokes, definately. I love all the group photos and family photos that were taken. It gives me that kinda warm feeling, that sorta closeness thingy. Thank God my dad side has like so many brothers and sisters, so that I can have even more cousins heh. Of cos' they're not all in the photo, but these are the ones I grew up with since young. Our age difference is only a year after the other, cool aye. Can't believe we've all grown up. Spent the countdown night in church, watching performances. Had to turn down the party with classmates at eski bar cos' of watchnight service, and Leighton still text me how fun it was...hmm. The youth activity was more like a place for me to sleep. I guess our region people were the only ones sleeping throughout. The jalan kayu prata doesn' taste as good as it used to be, now it taste like rubber. Okay, so what are my new year's resolution?? Probably get my long awaited license, followed by hoping that dad would allow me to use his car frequently. Let's see what else...get to know the Lord more, not taking my friends for granted, hmm and let's just hope I'll do well for year 3 and I'm done with my poly days (: I guess thats all. First week of school down, had a few pleasant surprises. I actually got gifts from Michael and Sherdion. Hah, its not belated christmas gifts though, just gifts. Makes one feel kinda appreciated, that kinda nice feeling you know what I mean, okay bye.

I completed the run, along with the rest of the yamers!! This was my very first 10km...gotta say it was really fun, running with thousands of people. Its also a good place to bump into old friends. I think we're gonna run again next year..I hope. Anyways I left one more subject to clear...how sad it is to have one paper and one presentation to take my youth camp away just like last years and I foresee next year too. Rushing 3 projects right now. Its due within the next two days. I think I wasted alot of time trying to arrange the images on my mobile game server, should have spend more time on my python assignment instead. At least I find these two projects worth the time working on, unlike wasting my time perfecting my cover letter and résumé. I even had to have a proper former-wear photo taken. Alright so 15 minutes ago, I took the camera, headed to the room where the wall was clean white and got it snapped. Went back to my room, got the photos out and I found something else interesting. Well parents have been travelling together more and more often this year. They've been planning to go almost everywhere alone!! Their sons are not allowed!! So ya found this photo which put a smile on my face instantly. Haven't seen them so lovey dovey for a long time. Now I know where they go to boost up their romance hah. I mean just look at them, to me the photo looks like they're dating rather than a married couple. Mummy looks gorgeous, and dad with that ah-boy haircut and his ku-ku bag pack!! I'm surviving well so far, haven't fall asleep in any of the lectures...yet. Our PSP are also not out...yet. Let's hope it stays this way. The lectures aren't that dry, the lecturers aren't that boring, except for one maybe, that E-business management lecturer, who goes on and on and on though the whole class seems to heck care. Thank goodness the timetable format allowed me to find slots to meet up with Sherdion for swimming!! So far so good, but seeing that thursday I have to see that same teacher, who failed me last sem, and still gonna teach us the same subject again this year...woah I don't really like him. Alright I can't say much since TP doesn't allow me to write any "bad" stuff on them on any blogs...whatever. I wanna go party world!!

New timetable, 4 day week, not bad, but lessons all end at 6. Apparently I'll finish learning some subjects by december already, projects are already out on blackboard!! So fast!! With half the class gone, mr Tan Yu Jian is already preparing to form new alliance starting this monday hahaha...nobody wants to have anything to do with that prick whatsoever. It was fun at the jurong complex on wednesday, except the short rain. Went out with mother today, and came home with an Optimus Prime. Nope, I wasn't the one who bugged her to buy that okay...and neither did Joash requested for any toys!! It was just mum who wanted it!! And now its just standing handsomely on my study table :D Alright time for Survivor!!

That no good white boy just gotta send me the link to his 11 tracks. So these are the idiots which the papers mentioned this morning. Release date is more than a week away, but his songs are everywhere, which puts a smile on the faces of white boy Ken and Michael who always manage to "get" his resources one way or another. Like the album cover :) Now the only album left to wait for is my F.I.R.!!!

A month just passed. Which also means I left 19 more days to do what I want. I really don't know how I survived september but oh well it just passed by that quickly. The feeling of not working for 2 months really sucks. The feeling of getting cheated by my recruit express agent sucks 10 times worse!!

Once again thanks to Kenvin, I've been getting free movie passes for the past two weeks!! Last week's Painted Skin 画皮 wasn't that fantastic as I thought it would be but yesterday's Connected 保持通話 was really above our expectation. Action-crime thriller, my favourite!! And since when did 大S become so pretty all of a sudden?!! Alright let's just see what Kenvin has installed for me and Sherdion next week wahahaha. And hopefully, the jurong boy will be able to get the F1 passes from me...fingers crossed Ken!!

I like the new iTunes ver.8. Just got it this week, it's fun to view. Alright, I think starting next week, I will probably be seeing my travelling karki Mr. Kenvin every week. Once again, its that time of the year, the mid-autumn festival!! Well I'm not the kind who would go down to chinese garden and look at all the lanturns and watch the fireworks..no. I only go for the Neo traditional celebration. Yup, all we need is one big grass area, accompanied by 4 good old trees and some thick string-like straps. Tie the straps to each tree creating a square area, therefore declaring thats our territory for the night. Funny but for years, no one had dare to occupy our spot. Its always the same every year, lots of food laid on the same old blue foldable table, another mini table for the people to work on the lanturns, and then its just the families and invited guests gathering round for some fellowship, and the little ones running everywhere with their sparkles and playing with fire, burning the floor, waiting for the security guard to come chase them off. And after which we start lighting up the lanturns and then you'll see the biggest lanturn exhibition in jurong east. I love it!! Okay this is how the Neo tradition looks like:

Sadly, our very last C176 outing, but it was a memorable one. Some of them couldn't make it, but still it was fun. I was running through the photos yesterday night, thinking back how we all started and how we grew. Now with brand new classes and classmates, the chances of us gathering again are quite slim. Just when you're starting to feel so attached to this class, some of us have to be seperated. Well, nice knowing you guys, every single one of you. Thank you so much.

HERE'S MR. SOCKO FOR YOU KEN!!

I realise I really love walking at the henderson wave over and over again. Its really fun when you go with different groups of people each time. Last thursday was with Amos and Ah~Neh, and today I brought Michael and Kenvin. We went a little extreme this time round, Kenvin wanted to be more adventurous so we started from mt.faber all the way to pasir panjang, and so we did....only to get lost in mt.faber!!

After lunch, we went back my place for dai di, at the same time waiting for our results to be released. Thank God I passed all my main papers, but darn it I failed some useless subject, thank goodness there's a sub paper..but argh..its really a stupid, no-need-to-take-exam kind of subject. I wanna quickly get it done and over with!! Tomorrow class outing at sentosa, can't wait for that one!! Its our very last C176 gathering before we get seperated. Let's pray hard that the weather will be as good as today's.

Moment of Thought

How izzit one can try to relive the times we shared a year ago, two years back, or even three. Its pretty difficult if you compare now and back then. There bound to be this little bit of awkwardness, or something-is-missing-here kinda feeling. Well we can put on an act all day long if we want to, but deep down yes, its just weird. I guess God chooses and sends certain individuals to play and leave a big impact in our lives. But once He decides to take them away from you, I guess he's just telling you "Hey friend, time to move on to the next and fulfil what you've been told to fulfil...". So its not like I can complain or anything, but time quickly brings you to the next stage faster than you thought and then I'll find myself kinda stuck I should say. But no matter how unwilling I was, I'll often be reminded. Yes I do know how that presence and that sense of comfort feels like, its not my first time. At the end of the day, I'll gladly smile and whisper in my head "Thanks pal..".

Woo yea I'm done with the all my papers, I'm free at last(I hope)!! Now I have to go hunt for a job, mother keeps reminding me that..oh well. Today the original plan was to have a morning walk with Yi Jun over at henderson wave. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind enough. Change of plans, we decided to go pay the guys a visit over at the comex show. Hah, so guess how the world did I manage to spot them...yes all thanks to the 100-year-old-tree Sherdion. I pointed him out as soon as I recognised that 1.84m and that wholesome chunk of hair and highlights!! Got there the first hour, and Sherdion proudly told me that he and Kenvin had sold their first macbook already haha. So please people if you need a macbook please please go down to booth nübox cos' I think the four of them are snatching deals from one another right now. Alright after the visit we went to catch 4bia. 4 stories, I thought the third and fourth was rather good and the first two were really stupid..hah its been ages since I last watched horror films and my reaction in the cinema is now much much crazier than it used to be. And tomorrow, gonna do some catching up with another bunch of friends. Heading over to henderson sec, meeting Pearl Yile Yongling and many more!! Can't wait!! Its really difficult meeting up with them these days. Believe it or not our last proper gathering was around june last year. And recently this past week, I seem to be in to Grasshopper's songs. Remember the band with the 3 ah bengs...and my favourite line..the "ah la mah! wassupah!! pili pala ai bu pah!! ai...bu...ai...bu!!" Its really fun to sing that :D

Okay the lab test is tomorrow, but we don't understand a thing, except probably a few. I tried to study, but ya...I ended out chatting with all the 3 LEEs since evening. I know MSN is a killer but ya one can't help but sign in as soon as the laptop is turned on can they. I told myself I'm gonna go out and enjoy a little before I start mugging for this week...guess I already failed doing that hah. I went to both marina and suntec last week and this week. I'm telling you there ain't no way I'm going back there lah. That place is an idiot. Whenever I walk into a shop, the alarm will go BEEP BEEP BEEP!! Last week, I thought it was my watch or something, got Amos to hold all my stuff, went out, still beeped!! I had enough, stayed out when the rest happily went in, laughing at me. And today, I am very sure I wore different tee shirt, different pants, different socks, different shoes. Amos told me its definately my briefs, now I know why Ah-Neh says he deserves to be called an ass. Its their thingy. Anyways I'll try to upload Engwee and Cheeleong's first ever para para dance over at the arcade. I laughed the loudest over there!!

Alright that just made my day, not that he lost his brochure, but that he had already done a lot of kuku stuff in class today. Poor coconut...

You know what? I really love this concert a lot!! Thank goodness I didn't miss this one!! It was really good. If I were to choose between the two, I think this one is better compared to the one Jay had this year. Okay, I didn't sit at my allocated seat. Apparently, some ridiculous stranger decided to take my seat and so I took his, which was a much better seat. Didn't really like this fellow next to me though. Anyways, second half of the concert was where it all started to get really emotional. They shared bit by bit of their story and then they sang this song, "我們的愛" which was very touching and I really mean very very touching!! I think like that's the best song of the night. Well I'm sure they gave their best since this is their very first world tour and singapore happens to be the very first stop. Didn't regret paying that much to watch it, I've been waiting almost close to 5 years for this event!! Alright enough said, I'll let the photos do the talking. Pardon me readers, for the horrible photography skills cos' I don't know how to use the camera, gee..

The past couple of weeks had been rather tough, I completed my room model which took me up till 4 in the morning, only to have my lecturer glance for perhaps 20 seconds or so, and then grade me and ask me to bring it back home, damn idiot!! Lots of assignment still going on, seemingly endless and I do really mean endless. Been coming home late that's another thing. So much things to do. Exams in a month's time. I still have presentations to do, one of which I still feel that is completely useless. Ya..that's how tiring the weeks are so far..

I think the pressure and stress is really getting into our heads. I really think we studied too much this time round. Allow me to explain it to you: Prime example, Lua.Q.Y. The lady was so worried about this particular subject till the point she went nuts. Learning that I've got the complete questions and answers for this week's lab, she literally followed me into the gents and requested for the softcopy, just like that! And here you go QY, you've finally gotten all the attention in the world you wanted cos' apparently your buddies all think you've turned kuku and have decided to share it with everybody else:

..sorry QY, you are indeed crazy HAH!! Oh well someone had to humor us if not I'll really be going to school sulking every single day. And thank goodness for Kenvin and his metal slug madness every train ride back home hah, and that experience over at raffles looking at all the expensive rolex watches and many other unknown brands!! Its really weird when one is wearing shorts and slippers and walks in with their slippers clapping against the floor into this poshy poshy shop and starts asking the sales assistant for help...okay that's me alright. The assistant had to the cheek to ask me whether would I need a calculator to sum up the items I've selected, even though I really thought that she gave that feeling that she was just wasting her time talking to a stupid penniless kid. But I still did walked out with something okay!! Now I know why Kenvin is always wearing jeans to school..

Today's the first of august, which means I'm only a week away from this!! Can't wait!!

I soooo can't bring myself to put the batman wallpaper instead of the Joker's one lah. Joker is really really awesome I tell ya. With just a knife and that sick smile, the entire movie belongs to him. Christian Bale can grab his cape and step aside man. Really a pity that Heath Ledger is gone...don't think there can be another Joker like him, he's the best!!

Yamer's bbq yesterday was quite a success!! All thanks to the weather and Jocelyn's lack of faith(yes you Jocelyn!!), we got to cook in the rain, we got to take uncle's pickup vehicle and we landed up cooking in auntie Mary's place. Blah, I want the next outing around october!!

Recently temasek students have been rather retarded I guess. We students are dumb, like we don't like to open our mouths to respond. So TP decided to create flash cards for us.
