Singapore Youth Festival 2005

Yup....today was Henderson Secondary School's turn to sing in the Singapore Youth Festival(SYF) ...ours falls on the second day. We were the number 47th choir to sing for the day. Everyone was pretty excited I should say....we left class around 9 plus and had a short rest in one of the rooms....after that around 12 plus our instructor Francis Liew came in. He started warming us up and went through all the songs with us...we were just great. Shortly after that, we all were ready to set off. This year's SYF was held in the Singapore Conference Hall. The stage was just awesome cause the seats were all RED!! So beautiful!! My colour!! haha....we started singing all 3 songs...it was good!! Our instructor was impressed....then after that, we manage to get to hear some other 2 choirs sing...Hai Sing secondary was pretty good.

k...just recieved the results not long ago....we clinched a silver!! 2 silvers in a row!! k...I think our choir did not bad....though most of us were like expecting a gold...sigh..it must be all Mr. Liew's praises thats why...haha....k...think tomorrow the principal is gonna annouce to the school about the good news....heehee...hopefully can get one day off... :)
