Neo Tradition

Once again, its that time of the year, the mid-autumn festival!! Well I'm not the kind who would go down to chinese garden and look at all the lanturns and watch the fireworks..no. I only go for the Neo traditional celebration. Yup, all we need is one big grass area, accompanied by 4 good old trees and some thick string-like straps. Tie the straps to each tree creating a square area, therefore declaring thats our territory for the night. Funny but for years, no one had dare to occupy our spot. Its always the same every year, lots of food laid on the same old blue foldable table, another mini table for the people to work on the lanturns, and then its just the families and invited guests gathering round for some fellowship, and the little ones running everywhere with their sparkles and playing with fire, burning the floor, waiting for the security guard to come chase them off. And after which we start lighting up the lanturns and then you'll see the biggest lanturn exhibition in jurong east. I love it!! Okay this is how the Neo tradition looks like:
