Cast
The All-Class Reject is a superhero film based on the C176 Comics character Tan Yu Jian. Based on a true story, the star, Tan Yu Jian who plays as himself in this film shares with the media that he insisted on using his own name for this movie. The media later reported that this was actually based on Yu Jian's true life story himself on the ups and downs he had growing up as a teenager.
Production
Unfortunately, due to the fact that T.Y.J. Studio did not meet the deadline for the filming and had violated the agreement, the movie was never to be release and that T.Y.J. Studio was forbidded to film the next sequel: "The Tennis Ball-Picker".
Filming and editing
For this Film, Yu Jian had to go through several trainings, from the dirty-ugly face to the gorilla position walk. Rumors have been spreading around saying that the lead actor had actually been taking anabolic-androgenic steriods to buff himself up for this film. Its also said that those drug were not prescribed by authorised doctors. Recent press conference showed a reporter repeatingly asking Yu Jian about his sudden weight gain. However, not only did he not respond to the question, the lead actor took out a tennis racket and gave repeated blows, hard shots to the head of the reporter.
Music
T.Y.J. Studios has bought the rights to "Pieces of Me" composed and sang by the legendary Leighton Fong. Two weeks later a piano piece was composed by Kenvin Hong and was used over the end credits. The song was spotted at #197 in the UK Billboard charts Top 200 for the next 13 weeks.
Personal Life
Yu Jian is a tennis school team player in Temasek Polytechnic. With an unorthodox set of offense and defense, he is urgubly one of the most dangerous player around to deal with. Yu Jian is a also a big fan of the World No. 1. female division, Maria Yuryevna Sharapova. Up to date, he has collected 17 autographs, 9 of which he travelled round the world just to attend the press conferences. He also has a set of trading cards - all exclusive to Sharapova. The lead actor himself admits that the closest he got to her was during a game which she had in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in 2007. Yu Jian has also recently took part in the Tekkan Championship in which he suffered a lost of a total record of 5-0 to the now newly crowned champion, Joel Neo.
